Question
How can I refinance my car loans? I've been paying on time for 3 years. The original lender won't alter my interest rate at all. If I go through a bank/other lender, do they come look at the car &/or appraise it? Thanks! anotherbloodysuspension, While it was entertaining, that was not exactly helpful advice...

you need to get your self to Las Vegas and bet your money on blackjack. you could win your loans back in a night. or you could end up being a heroin mule to the mob because you owe them money. eventually you become a druggie, contract STDs and die in a gutter. but try to hit the 21!!!!

I refinanced my car loan. I had a loan through the dealer which was at a higher rate than what my bank offered. All I did was go to my bank and tell them I wanted to refinance. They paid off my current loan and issued a new loan through them with a better interest rate. They did not look at or appraise the car. It's always good to shop around for the best rate.

The car does not need to be appraised for refinancing. Auto refinancing and home refinancing are different in many ways, that being one. You can try many places other than your original lender to get refinanced. If you are a member of a local credit union, start there. But if you want to hit some of the larger lenders, send us an application and we'll shop your application out. We don't sell it to multiple brokers like other places out there. And if we can't help, we'll tell you why. If you have any other questions about refinancing your car let me know. Or just check out the website below. There is a lot of good info on there in the FAQs
