Do I need to pay tax in UK on a low-interest loan from my mum in India?
My mum wants to give me a low interest loan to help me put down a deposit on a house in the UK. She lives in India and I live in the UK. Do I need to pay tax on the loan she gives me? Also, do we need to do it officially and if so what is the process? Is there anywhere I can get detailed information on the Revenue and Customs rules for this?

How does someone on disability get a low interest loan?
I am looking for a small loan, less than 20,000, but b/c I am on disability I don't make enough money to get a loan, even though my credit is excellent.

my landlord is selling the property my business is in at a realgood price. I have the down payment and good credit and collateral in my house but have bad tax returns showing low income. Will the SMA help me finance the building ?

high interest loan ~15% (variable interest)
the low interest loan is a student loan from the gov
the high interest loan is from a private bank

I was off work for a week and now Im behind on all of my bills. Where can I find a low interest loan?
I need a loan that I will not have to pay on for at least a couple of months. Until I have extra cash to pay for it. I am on a strict budget right now and need some breathing room. I am so behind.

Getting a second home that I will live in within 5/6 months with a low interest loan.?
I am a RE investor in training. And I just got a property that I am suppose to live in as my principal home. I will rent out the rest of the rooms to generate cash flow. However I want to buy another property to generate more cash flow. But I want to get a low loan rate if possible. Is it possible to get a second loan without having to get an investment loan with high interest?
I had a couple people tell me that in about 5-6 months I can write a letter to my lender and tell them that I dont like to live there anymore for any reason, ie hate the location, don't like the neighbors, etc. and that I want to buy a second home and live in there. That way I can go out and get me another loan for a low rate and have that as my new principal property, while keeping the first home to rent out for cash flow. These guys already has 6 homes and tells me that is how they has been doing it. Is this legal?

If we default, we will not be able to get ANYmore loans. Then we will have to live within our means, and I don't believe we're ready for that.

Why can't USA spend less on welfare handouts and MORE on small business low-interest loans and scholarships?
The idea is to help poor people so long as they have a will to contribute and to be achievers, because eventually they will generate their own income. Throwing money at non-contributing poor is not good for the poor OR the rich.
I always thought if you give a man a fish, he will eat for a day, but if you TEACH him to fish, he will eat for the rest of his life.
What can possibly be a better service for the poor than teaching them how to pay their own way? Even a child knows this. That's why a kid says "Mommy I want to open the garage door, not you, let ME do it!"
It's something called individual liberty, right?
so if we use money to help poor people in the process of generating their own income through small business or education, isn't that much more worthwhile?

Are There Any Special Lower-Interest Mortgage Loans ?
I want to build a small house in a rural area but I am single and don't make a lot of money. Are there any special lower-interest loans available that I might qualify for?
(If students can get scholorships for school I was thinking there might be special programs out there to help people to buy/build homes. This would not be my first home so I guess I wouldn't qualify for Fannie Mae)
This is really mportant to me so please let me know if you have any information on mortgage/construction loans that might help me. Thank you!

is it Geico? Also, my father keeps trying to get a loan for at least just $6,000 because we saw a moblie home in a book and the mobile home park want $6,000 up front to pay, but no matter where my father applies for a loan no one will give him one just because his credit is a LITTLE bad, but it is not even all that bad! They will not even just give him a loan with high interest at all. So does anyone know of a company that will still give him a loan even though he has slightly bad credit (in particular a company that will still provide low or no interest even though he has bad credit)?

Small Business Low interest Loan?
I am opening a new business and I am wondering where to find information about a low interest loan for start up costs,
I already own the building and property I also have the proper zoning for the business, I dont want to go thru a local bank because of the high interest rates even though I have good credit, I am needing $25,000 for start up costs and would appreciate any information that anyone could give me.
