Bankruptcy does not wipe out a mortgage. You will have to pay all back mortgage payments over a period of time and all future mortage payments when they are due.

you are unable to wipe-out property taxes as the county will take possession of your home and resell. the mortgage is attached to the home and go with the home and therefore they cannot be excused no ignored. you must pay all taxes current in addition to payments if you intend to remain in the home for any period of time. you do have a period of time once you have received your release from the court and then you need to re-up with the lender & county to pay all the payments current to stay as owner of the home, your BK attorney should have explained that to you B4 going to court.
