My Mortgage Co. told me to have mom or dad, good friend etc. put your name on their cards, and it won't effect their credit but help yours. As long as they pay them. It should really boost them if they pay on time!

You need to find a bank that has a secured credit card program. You put an agreed upon amount of money in their bank and they issue you a credit card. After a while, when you have maintained a good record with them, they will give you your money back, increase your credit line, etc. Good luck!

Get a secured credit card. You have to put money down on it, usually around $500.00, and then that is all you can spend. But it shows up on your credit report as a normal card and will help to raise your credit scroes. Usually Capital One has something like that.

If you have bad credit, a credit card is the last thing you need. Bad credit says you couldn't handle the debt you've had in the past (that's how you get bad credit). What you need is to pay your current bills (rent/mortgage, utilities, etc) on time and take a class in personal money management to learn how to save, instead of using credit.
