How long does it take to get a sba loan secured through the veterans association?
my husband and I applied for a secured sba loan and the VA offers to vets a secured loan called the patriot act loan.
we applied at the liberty mo branch commerce bank with the loan manager. it has been over 9 weeks and the banker states he'll get with us when he hears back. rarely does he return my calls about inqury.

Can criminal charges be pressed against me for defaulting on a secured loan?
I had a horse farm that I sold due to financial issues. The buyers asked to include a tractor in the sale which I agreed thinking I'd pay off the tractor loan once I went to settlement on the property. The day of settlement I found out the mortgage company charged me a 10% penalty for early repayment leaving me walk away with nothing. I am making payments on the tractor still but no longer have it in my possession. Struggling with the large payments, I called the tractor company and asked if I could work out a lower payment plan temporarily. When they asked why I am not returning the tractor, I explained what happened. The tractor company told me they will press charges even though I am up to date on the loan. I asked why I couldn't continue making payments until it was paid off and they said I was still in default because I didn't have the tractor anymore. Is this possible and what type of charges can they file against me?

How can i get a secured loan even though i have bad credit?
I have property that can have a house built on it. It is ready for construction. but my credit sucks and i have been going back and forth with the credit agencies because half of the stuff on my credit is not mine one credit place fixed it equifax so my equifax or experian report is clean and i got turned down not because of bad credit but because there wasnt enough on my credit?
no i dont want to build on it. I have a home that I live in. I only owe 3000 then it will be mine. I want to get a loan to pay it off and do some home improvements I have no desire to build on this land. But its well worth 25,000 to 30,000 and I am looking to borrow about 20,000 after I finish my home improvements im going to use what is left towards paying back the loan.

Does anyone know a loan company that offers secured loans when there is already a 2nd charge in place?
ie; Property bought with help of a grant (29 percent of total house price) from a key worker scheme for nurses, police etc. There is a fair bit of equity in the property but I'm still having trouble finding a lender that does this, although I am assured there are some out there. Been taken to the point of completion twice before being knocked back for this reason. Has anyone had success with this?

Should I borrow on my secured loan or mortgage?
I want to borrow some to money to consolidate all my credit and thought the only way out is to put it on my mortgage. I am tied into my mortgage til November and so will have a charge of £3000.00 to pull out. I could get a secured loan which is the same as a mortgage but you will get quicker money and wont incurr any charrges. What should I do?

I have a few thousand dollars in the bank and I was considering getting a secured loan of a thousand dollars for like 3-6 months to help increase my credit score. Will this do any good? If so how much will my score increase?

I have terrible credit and I need a loan. I have a paid off newer nice car bought with cash. Do banks give small loans with the secured car title? I don't want a to go to a title place becuase i have heard bad things about them. I also have an auto loan i am paying on in good dtanding for 7 months now

can i get a personal loan secured by a judgement lien?
i won a 35,000 dollar personal injury lawsuit which has not been paid yet. my attorney filed for a judgement lien on the property. there has been a lien on it for awhile and i'm starting up my own business and need some working capital'but my credit is poor. can i use the judgement lien as collateral on a secured loan. thank you for your time.

I have been told I can't by HSBC. I have poor credit rating because I earn NMW whilst living in Company accomodation with free food.

Is There A Certain Amount Required In Your Checking Account to Apply For A Secured Loan??
Do You need to have at least the face value of the loan your applying for in your checking/savings account. Or do they just look to make sure you have no bad checks/overdrafts etc...Is the actual amount important??? thanks

whats better a secured loan or a secured credit card for credit report?
i've got 800 dollars would it help my score more to get a secured credit card or to get a secured loan. also if i put my husbands name on it will it get reported to both our reports or just the first person on the loan

What are the pro's and con's of a secured loan?
Can anyone recommend a secured loan.
Our options are:
An IVA (but we don't want to lose equity from our home)
or
A Debt Management plan which leaves us only 100pcm spare for next 5 years which means that not only do we suffer but so does our son
or
keep paying for loans that only have 2 years left on them and consolidate the rest - this means we will be seriously skint for next 2 years but after that can resume a decent standard of living...
Can anyone help? We are at our wits end... We have got ourselves into such a mess and it has all spiraled out of control. We don't want to default on any payments, up until now we haven't missed a single one, but we can't keep on as we are... Help?

I have secured loan. the loan is not registared with the land registry! what do i do?
I have a 'secure loan' but i went bankrupt last year and have since found out that the secure loan was not registered with the land registry! Do i still have to pay it? or can i take them to court? The loan company is still asking for the money.

Am looking to apply for secured loan - would like to go direct to lender as opposed to brokers -?
Does anyone know who are actual lenders? My credit history is good - wife's not so good - turned down by mortgage company for additonal borrowing (think we asked for too much - now just want to borrow enough to clear debts - no home improvement plans!)

If you have 2 secured cards and a bank loan. How long will it take to go from a 600 fico to 720.?
I know you have to pay on time and keep the balances low. But Im curious can it be done in a few months or does it take years. Also If you have low balance loans with very low balances, will addition secured loans help your credit score?

Secured loan, how can i have my payments reduced?
Due to current financial circumstances (Being 150 down a week) Are there any particular ways to have my payments reduced with my secured loan?
I've spoke to the people i have the loan out with and was only offered a months payment break, this won't suffice as i just can't make ends meet.

Will a secured loan help my credit if payed before interest takes hold?
I was wondering if i get a secured loan for a thousand dollars and put up a thousand dollars as Collateral. don't ask why i want to build my credit. my question is if i pay it off in less than a month before there is any interest does it count as you paid the loan off and go good for your credit. This is all new to me i thought how it worked was you need to put up something equal or greater. so 1000 dollars is equal or greater than the 1000 so can i pay it off under a month to avoid interest cost.
