Suggest you Do Your Own Research (DYOR) - if you think the Banks etc. have submitted incorrect data to the Government Statistics office you are going to need to see their books ... (you will need a team of "forensic auditors" - shouldn't cost more than £10 -20m to do an in-depth audit of every UK Bank ... assuming they will let you of course ..)
