Question
What happens to your student loans if you transfer to a different college? I transferred to a different college and I was just wondering what happens to the student loans from the other college? There is a grace period of 6 months after I graduate, but does that mean I graduate in general or from the college I took the loans out from? There are federal loans not private ones.

It depends on the terms of the loan. Read the fine print of the papers you signed. Everything should be right there. Good luck,

It would be when your graduate or withdrawal from school. It dosen't matter if you transfer schools, as long as your still attending school your fine. It's when you leave school completely that the 6 month grace period kicks in.
